 1- CONSOLIDATORS

Jobtel were in at the birth of Vantis the consolidator and provided some of the initial parties prior to the float.  We were mentioned in their prospectus and have the "Tombstone" to prove it - we were retained by Vantis for 5 years afterwards.

Now we are free of that restraint and are consoldering gathering together another group for floatation - we estimate that it will be ready for floatation in 2 years time at which point the shares of the two existing ccounting Consolidators Tenon and Vantis are likely to have climbed again to their foatation price which will have proved that the system can work!

If your firm has a fee base of £2M plus and you are interested in discussing the matter then please call us 01636 812960 for a confidential chat.

We are also particularly looking for a Lead firm at £8 plus and coming from te London area - if you are tat firm - then also call us for a confidential chat.  We are always available to nip to see you for a chat!

2 OUTSOURCING

Jobtel became aware of the possibilities of outsourcing a couple of years ago.

Indeed at that time BUT for the bad reputation earned by the call centres it seemed likely that the accountancy profession would take to it “lock stock and barrel”.

The advantages seemed obvious, cost between 25% and 40% lower than that possible in the UK and a seemingly never ending supply of qualified manpower waiting to do the work? Not only that but it is technically possible to complete the work whilst you are asleep due to the time difference.

But the dreadful reputation of the call centres gave the whole thing a reputation it probably did not deserve particularly as it is almost entirely a matter of figure-work production – if you like a “figures factory”.

Well the whole system is now proved and working and there are services from India and Sri Lanka. Sometimes it is sent by email, others use scanning and sending of hard copy but it is evident that the paperwork does not seem to get lost (one of the initial fears!).  Every week I hear of a new firm that has opened the outsourcing route to advantage, some larger firms just send over maybe 10% of the total, other smaller ones are happier to try to outsource nearly all – or a much a possible.  Of course it is not beneficial to send everything over as in some cases the saving cannot be achieved on smallest or messy jobs.

Jobtel has teamed up with a firm in the UK owned by an Indian firm which now seeks to expand from its first base. It already has two other sole practitioner clients and is exploring ways of formulating joint ventures so that the outsourcing becomes permanent and both parties feel that they are contributing and gaining from it.

So if you want to try to respond to your clients worries over YOUR FEES then why not consider OUTSOURCING TO INDIA. You may be able to REDUCE YOUR FEES AND INCREASE YOUR MARGINS!! And that’s surely a way of keeping your clients happy.

If you are interested or would like an initial assessment why not call JOBTEL to arrange a visit by the experts??? Jobtel has known of the UK firm for many years and has worked with the Indian company on some projects.

Call JOBTEL – Julian Hamilton 01636 812960 (usually in until 7 pm)

We understand that the Indian owner may be coming to the UK in February - if you would like to meet him then please let us know and we will try to arrange a meeting for you.

Jobtel receives a commission from these introductions.
